What’s New in Sage One

New multi-currency features, eWay for online payments and other features inside this update
Released: December 2015

Online Payments with eWay in your Customer Zone

Allow your customers to view invoices and make payments online by clicking a link in their email. This gives your customers the most up-to-date information, including their account history with you. You can get paid faster by using Online Payments with eWay, where your customers can pay you directly from the invoice using the Pay Now button!

You can also decide how much your customers see:
Invoices Only: Your customers will see their invoices online and can print their invoices and pay you if you have enabled Online Payments.
Invoices and Account History: Your customers will be able to do everything above plus check their account history and statements.
Use the Customer Zone Notifications widget to track who has viewed their invoices, sent you a message from your Customer Zone and paid you.

Other Changes

Balance Sheet: We’ve replaced the Statement of Assets and Liabilities with the Balance Sheet report. Along with this update, we need to make you aware of the following:
  • The Inventory System Account that used to appear on the Statement of Assets and Liabilities will no longer appear on your Balance Sheet.
  • You will need to record your inventory on hand via a journal entry. We’ll guide you on how to go about doing this – just follow the relevant help links available in Sage One or, take a look at the guide here.
New Defaults:
  • Default GST Types are now available on all Customer, Supplier and Account masterfiles. These defaults will make it easier for you to capture the correct GST while you’re processing.
  • A number of Default Due Date options can now automatically be included on new documents for Customers and Suppliers.
  • Default Discount % can now be set on Customer and Supplier masterfiles and will automatically populate on all new documents.
Account Lines on Documents: Add your own description to Account lines on your Customer and Supplier documents.
Custom Document Layouts: Import and export Custom Layouts to quickly and easily share invoice and statement layouts.
